What about simply show or hide rows based on a class for cells?

I mean a local filter applied on the filtertoolbar code..

I'm finding anywhere but I can't find any direction for solving this.

Hi Tony,

thank you so much for your answer, but what do you think if I'm applying a filter who actually refer to values stored in another column?

In my example I can add an hidden column near the colum for which I would like to appy the filter so my colmodel should be:

| item | price | margin_dollar

I can even add an hidden column that I will programmatically fill in using my calculations, but what I should do remain that I need to

please forget about it…after spending many hours debugging this code I found that I've changed column names, so this is the reason it's not working….

On Top of columns that are now colored in different colors there will be the Columns Headers

BTW, it's exactly the syntax I'm using for having GroupHeaders.

Can you take a look at this complex example?

For complex I mean I'm using also SubGrids, Custom Buttons, etc.

In the example I can see the following code:

jQuery("#"+subgrid_table_id).jqGrid('navGrid',"#"+pager_id,{edit:false,add:false,del:false})

If I try to enable any feature like Add (add:true) there is no difference in the Top pager…so even the example is not referring correctly to the topbar, please how this can be done clearly?

The only difference I can see in this demo is that the version is the 3.7.

Also demos for version 4, PHP component and so on, show a different look.

Is possible to use this skinned search form?

Your solution prevent those errors to coming up!

The Github version seems to fix some problem but introduced others, for ex:

1. Any Modal window for editing/deleting has a fixed position and cannot be moved..

2. The Rollover buttons are little messy, showing other icons rather than save/cancel

Is the same for you?

For strange bugs I'm talking about:

1. IE combo values always start 1st value

2. Filter toolbar not sending search on columns Yes/No

I'm downloading the Github master version, and I'm making some tests using loader, however I'm getting source errors with Firefox, with IE it's all OK.

I found this problem with IE 8 on Windows XP, with Firefox the behaviour is correct, how this can be fixed?
