the mod post above was not very useful as the documentation provided did not give a valid response to my question.
however here is a function that will return the sorted data, it seems to work so far 🙂
I was able to solve the issue by using local data but adding a column of name “id” to each row which gets used for the data.
this wasnt obvious from the documentation, but it seems to work!
