Sorry for this, but there is undocumented parameter in onSelectRow –

onSelectRow(rowid, selected) – where the selected is valid only in multiselect mode and is true when the row is selected and false if delselected.

But as for the news you can read in the docs-
- Added a second parameter to setSelection: onselectrow (boolean, default true). If set to false, the onSelectRow is not launched

Hello,

Create custom button using navButtonAdd to lunch your own form where a filterGrid is created. There are some undocumented functions in grid.common.js. These provide a support for modal dialogs in jqGrid.

What does not work? Does the modal appear when you click the button?

Refer to docs. Since this is separate module, that can be used outside the jqGrid the translations strings are whitih the parameters.

Do you have included a jqModal.js, jqDnR.js,grid.formedit.js and grid.common.js and jqModal.css files in the head sections?
