You have all the available information. By example – parameter page point to the current page, rowNum mean how many rows do you want to load, records point to total records from the query. Refer to docs for all available parameters.

Having this you can change these parameters and trigger the grid to load the new data.

This is not bug. In order to put in the right place some code we need a uniquie id – in this case the row id.
