    Hello,

This is discussed many times here. Also the clear answer is: No. Currently there is no full support for cliet side manipulation of data – i.e. search pagnation and etc. It will be included in the future releses, but this do not have higer priority.

    Hello,

Please look carefully into your code – what you have after saveRow? – triggering the grid – this causes your problem

    Hello Mark,

It seems that I do not express myself clear. What I want is that the existing users should not change the existing code and this is definitley done with your script.

I need to do some tests. Also there are other methods whch maybe should be included – in custom module and in user contributed modules.

Thanks again for you work. Will let you know what is my finall decision.

    Hello,

It seems that you do not included the custom module when you download the grid.

    Check what you have downloaded.

Consult the documentation when you use this method which module should be included in the download.

    Hello Lynn,

    Thanks.

The first one can be resolved – there is a fix (for IE browsers only), which can be found here in the forum.

Actually this is a bug in IE.

Personally I do not like this fix, so I do not included them in the last bug fix release.

Will try to find the fix an this forum and provide a link.

    2. Thanks for the second – will take some time to investigate why is this happen.

    Hello,

It seems that you do not have installed correct the CSS files.

I stongly recommend you to remove all old css files from 3.4.x version and use the new one.

More information you can find here:

    http://www.trirand.com/jqgridwiki/doku.php?id=wiki:upgrade_from_3.4.x_to_3.5

    or here

    Regards

    P.S.

The example works fine in my demo site.

    Hello,

Which version do you use? If you use 3.5 I suggest you to use filterToolbar method instead of filterGrid.

    Hello Rayson,

Yes, clearGridData call a internal updatepager function, which call gridComplete event. This is needed to set correctly the information on pager if available.

    Hello Mark,

Thanks for this. I do not know about this bug. Will try to set the css at end of the expressions, where possible, but I think that this will be fixed in the next release of jQuery.
