Could you be please a more specifick. In wich module is this, which version of jqGrid, which browser and etc.
It will help us if you send a link to the problem or just if this is not possible to post the code.

See setLabel method – http://www.trirand.com/jqgridwiki/doku.php?id=wiki:methods
or simply use the editData array.
See http://www.trirand.com/jqgridwiki/doku.php?id=wiki:form_editing#editgridrow
You do nothing wrong. The current date checking work only on date formats and not on datetime format.
Please send a link to the problem. Maybe you do not have id in the first row.
The option works only in 3.5 version. Also in 3.4 is hard to do.
Maybe you can use the UI theme switcher. More info you can found in jQuery UI site.
I think that this is possible. Just before loading the page set the needed language file via script tag. This should overwrite the current selected language.
The class scroll in 3.5 is not needed anymore, but if you want to have it you can set it in the pager div like you do in your post.
use shrinkToFit: false
Try this
if (selRow == null && recNum > 0) {
Maybe you can use cookies
See my previous post and modify your style according to what I write.
Not sure if I understand what you try to do.
