As far as I know it is updated automatically.
Just set editurl to clientArray and it will be updated automatically.

Check your response what you return as colModel. Maybe you response contain ‘sortable’: ‘false’ instead of ‘sortable’:false

Yes this is normal. The grid need to update the entire value of the search and not every typed letter.
I recommend you to use async:false in your post ajax function. During this process you can set a wait message.
When sort is performed we always return the first page.
You can use the onSort event to change the parameters. See docs

Unfortunately no.
The data in grid parameters is source data. The formated data come when a new page is loaded.
Sorry, this is very basic and it is difficult to make additional function for this purpose.
