This is can be done.

If after the first load your id will not be changed then you can use succefully the updateGridRows method.

Tim thanks, I will see what I can do, but not sure if this will be too much.

I do no see any other way to place the top pager at top, because it should be below the caption. If we place it above we will not have a good looking grid.

I'm not sure, but this maybe can be fixed using important in the CSS, but I do not like this.

Instead will look at this.
