I suppose you mean local data sorting.
Currently this is not supported, but I have added this and will publish it soon in GitHub.

+ is not allowed char for the id. See specifications. Just construct your own DOM element with such id and try to manipulate it.

Why do you think that the problem is in the grid?
If you are new and do not want to use the commerial PHP component you will need first to learn PHP, how to work with databases and etc. This always out of this forum.
