Hello Tony
I sent the pull request which contains modification of the filterToolbar based on the createSearchingToolbarSynchronization
If you want modify the code you should better use $.jgrid.jqID instead of replacement of blanks to undescores. The function $.jgrid.jqID are used in the most places of jqGrid code, but still not everywhere. The problem it very easy. It one have meta-characters as the part of id and one want to use the id as a part of the jQuery selector one have to escape the characters. The method $.jgrid.jqID do exactly the job.

Oleg
Your problem is that you use tableToGrid plugin insted of the usage of jqGrid directly. If you need use titel having blanks you should use colNames option of jqGrid (or the same option of tableToGrid) instead of the usage of ids having blanks.

Hello Ton,
I full agree Tony that it's a lot of changes and there should be carefully tested of cause.
The minimal set of changes would include grid.base.js, grid.custom.js and jquery.fmatter.js because all the modules used _complete method.

Hello Tony,
I sent the pull request. It's still not full, but it's difficult to make all changes at once.
Best regards

It's important feature and not a bug. The defaultSearch option of filterToolbar method set default options for all columns. It makes problems. Let us you have colum with select having “equal” and “not equal” option. If you would use defaultSearch:'cn'
Hello Seriy,
It's the restriction of the current implementation of the 'checkbox' formatter. It uses just the standard checkbox which is disabled. It one clicked on any disabled control no click event will be fired.
STOP!
During writing the answer I become an idea how to modify the standard 'checkbox' formatter to make the disabled checkbox do clickable. I implemented the solution with respect of the custom formatter and unformatter. The idea is to place invisible div over the disabled checkbox. In the case if the user click on the disabled checkbox
You should use really the latest version of jqGrid which are 4.3.1 now. Moreover you should use jquery.jqGrid.src.js instead of jquery.jqGrid.min.js if you post an error. You should also always write which web browser you used in your tests. The best would be if you post a small demo which can be used to reproduce the problem. Could you post additional information?
Best regards
Oleg
I suppose it's the same problem as described in the post. You should just modify grid.loader.js (which has the name jquery.jqGrid.js in your code) so that Firefox uses the same rules (document.write) during including JavaScript modules like it's used for the Internet Explorer.

I think that the origin of the described bug is the line 1542:
postdata = postdata.split(",");
which modifys the postdata. The postdata variable will be used later not only the the line
Congratulation!
It's good to publish releases with bug fixes.

Hello,
I just answer on your question here. I think that the problem is the mix of the wrong usage of inlineNav parameters and the bug in the code of “Save” button.

Oleg
P.S. I hope that Tony will read the post and will fix the code of
