Tony you're my savior!

After just 10 minutes of grabbing the latest GitHub package and modifying my .jqGrid parameters a bit, the default mouseover tooltips were properly hidden and my third-party tooltips were working as intended!

I can't thank you enough for your excellent tool and especially the prompt and helpful response to my support question.
