Hi Tony,

sorry if it is not clear enough.

I want to change the display of data so that is in columns of 3 instead of rows. so the table would look like so

row 1 | row 2 | row 3
---------------------
row 4 | row 5 | row 6
---------------------
row 7 | row 8 | row 9

row 1 | row 2 | row 3

---------------------

row 4 | row 5 | row 6

---------------------

row 7 | row 8 | row 9

Anyone?

I have tried to jquery.jqGrid.src.js on line 1414 found that it is creating <tr> so tried to create a variable outside of while loop and modified it but it is not working see below :

if (colCount === 0 || colCount === 3) {
			        rowData[iStartTrTag] = constructTr(idr, hiderow, cn1, rd, cur, selr);
			        if (colCount === 3) {
			            rowData.push(&quot;&lt;/tr&gt;&quot;);
			            colCount = -1;
			        }
			    }
			    colCount ++;

if (colCount === 0 || colCount === 3) {

rowData[iStartTrTag] = constructTr(idr, hiderow, cn1, rd, cur, selr);

if (colCount === 3) {

rowData.push("</tr>");

colCount = -1;

}

colCount ++;
