Great job first of all. Thank you for all your hard work.

I am using edittype select and I'm calling a URL which returns an XML. It all works fine and I'm able to see the full list in the dropdown.

The problem I'm having is that the initial value is changed when I access the row. The cell in that has the dropdown list already has a value in it and I want to maintain that value unless the user changes it by selecting another item from the list.

Is there a certain setting to make the initial value as the original value in the cell?
