    Hi Tony,

I understand the problem. Including an integration with a validation plug-in would allow for a more robust solution for the end-user. I hope you will consider including a form element + adding validation classes to fields. This way you can incorperate a lot of error checking routines at once.

    Hi Tony,

I see in the preview that you found a solution to the problem. Is is incorperated in the release yet?

I also have a request (maybe more for the feature request section). Is it possible to get the grid to save a row as soon as you select another one. This way you can click on a new row and the changes will be saved. If I get it to behave like that the grid will behave even more like a desktop grid.

    Regards,

    Wouter

    Hi Tony,

Thanks for looking into this. Strange that you do not have this problem. I will try to describe what happens exactely. I have the problem on several machines (all XP) and both in IE6 and IE7. The problem is that the dropdown box closes before I can click on an entry with the mouse. I can select using the arrow keys, but only when I enter into the field using the TAB key will the value be saved to the db.
The problem still exists in the final preview in the “input types” demo.

    Greetings,
    Wouter.

I found it. There was an extra comma after the last column in the model.
Now that it is working I have a next problem in IE. I will start a new topic for it.

    Thanks,

Changed that but still not working in IE6. (Both FF and Safari give not errors)

    Any other thoughts?
