sortableRows bug – drag a few rows up and down and the grid column widths lose their width settings.
I am able to replicate using the jqGrid 3.6 demo.
Can replicate by dragging a row, then sorting columns too.
Sorry could not reproduce. In which browser is this?
Do you have a DOCTYPE declaration?
I also see this problem on the jqgrid 3.6 demo. I used Firefox 3.0.14. When you move a few rows, suddenly the width of the columns is different from the width of the header columns.
Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:184.108.40.206) Gecko/2009082706 Firefox/3.0.14
Yes I confirm this bug. It happen only in FireFox 3.0.x.
Investigationg little the problem it seems that (not fully sure) there are combination of bugs in FF 3.0.x and sortable.
[bump] any plans to fix this for 36? or is it off the list ?
This is actually bug in sortable. Sortable rows can not be used in Chrome and Safari too. Will see how to fix it. There is a ticket in jQuery UI track, which is not resolved untill now.
I see – thanks for the info.
It seems to be an old issue, but I am having this problem with version 4.3.1. After row move (drop), column widths are randomly changed, while column header widths stay the same.
This is only on Chrome and recently reproduced on Safari.
Firefox and IE seem to be fine, I couldnt reproduce it there.
I figured I need to be a litle more descriptive:
After resorting rows ajax request is posted to the server to save new row order and some processing.
This depend where and when you do this.
Usualy if you do it with setTimeout maybe will fix the problem.
Instead of .trigger(“reloadGrid”) I tried only to refresh data, not the grid:
